About

The Ocean Beach Woman's Club was established in 1924 and is one of the oldest civic and philanthropic groups in San Diego. Our purpose is to give our members a place to create social connections, help in our neighborhood and empower each other to be change makers and leaders.

Among our many contributions to the community, we were instrumental in paving Ocean Beach streets, the installation of sewers and streetlights, acquiring a community Rec Center and Public Library, advocating and securing year-round Lifeguards, and providing a center for service people during World War II. We continue this legacy today through our fundraising and volunteering efforts in Ocean Beach and Point Loma communities.

We, the women of the Ocean Beach Woman's Club, will honor each other with friendship, community, fun and philanthropy, in the spirit of sisterhood today and always.

Our Mission

Be impactful within both our local and broader community, grow as individuals, bring value to member's lives and have fun together.
